The Adult Basic Education Department offers vocational classes  at the Belleville, Granite City, and Red Bud campuses and at the East St. Louis Community College Center.   Day and evening classes are offered.  

VOCATIONAL CLASSES

  • Office Technology program 

  • Information Processing program

  • Certified Nurse Assistant 

  • Ward Clerk program

  • Security Officer certification

  • Food Service Sanitation

  • Construction Trades program

  • Welding certificate program
These classes are offered FREE to those who qualify and can meet one or more of the following:
Lack a high school diploma
Have a recent GED 
Participate in Department of Human Services or WIA
Speak English as a second language

Pre-registration and orientation are required.
